Privacy policy
This page explains what West Michigan Moving Company collects when you visit our site or request a moving quote, what we do with it, and how to have it deleted. Derek signed off on the plain-English version below. If you have a question it doesn’t answer, use the contact page.
What we collect
- Quote-form data — name, phone, email, origin and destination, target date, and any notes. We need it to put your flat rate together.
- Site analytics — anonymized page-view data so we know which Grand Rapids service areas draw traffic. No name attached.
- Call records — if you call the office, we log the date, time, and the quote we wrote. No call recording.
What we do with it
We use quote-form data to write your quote and run your move, full stop. We don’t sell your information to lead-aggregator networks, broker shops, or moving directories, and we run no referral kickback. If another mover called you with your details, it didn’t come from us.
What we share, and with whom
- Our payment processor handles card data for deposits — we never store full card numbers.
- Our insurance carrier sees building names and addresses when you need a certificate of insurance.
- That’s it — no data brokers, no remarketing beyond standard analytics.
Your right to delete
Want your quote-form record removed? Email us through the contact page and say so. We’ll delete it from the office system within five business days and confirm by email.
Cookies and updates
The site sets a session cookie and an analytics cookie; clear both from your browser any time without affecting the quote form. If we change anything material here, the updated version goes up with a fresh date and active quote requests get a heads-up email.
